The purpose of the Indo Asian Solar Challenge is to stimulate research into, and development of, sustainable transport, meaning that the Indo Asian Solar Challenge is primarily a design competition. Participation in the Indo Asian Solar Challenge calls for the Design And Construction of a Solar Electric Vehicle within the given design parameters, and driving the Solar Electric Vehicle across the continent of Asia in accordance with these regulations.
