The purpose of the Indo Asian Solar Challenge is to stimulate research into, and development of, sustainable transport, meaning that the Indo Asian Solar Challenge is primarily a design competition. The regulatory philosophy is to provide the parameters upon which to base the design, rather than specify exactly how each is to be achieved. Science And Technology evolve and to encourage the most innovative ideas.
Participation in the Indo Asian Solar Challenge calls for the Design And Construction of a Solar Electric Vehicle within the given design parameters, and driving the Solar Electric Vehicle across the continent of Asia in accordance with these regulations.

The main objective of the event is to generate the students interest in the field of eco bikes and to bring about a new revolution in the field of biking that can be marketed as a usable product for the future generation.
In addition to the comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabricating a single seated DC motor driven vehicle to maneuver on all types of terrains.

The E-bike racing challenge 2020 is an engineering level competition is which student pursuing engineering in any field especially mechanical and electronics can enhance their skills by participating in this event. The students must design and subsequently test the bike for efficient and reliable performance, at the same time taking into considerations the market compatibility of the vehicle manufactured, cost efficiency etc.
Through this event the students get an opportunity to develop technical as well as managerial skills and also know about real world problems. It also helps in Inter Domain Collaboration. Electric Bike is the need of future generation.
